Babe Ruth Baseball Division (Ages 13–15)
The Babe Ruth Baseball Division is a competitive level of baseball designed for players ages 13–15 who are continuing their development beyond the Little League field. This division introduces players to the “big field” and emphasizes advanced skill development, game strategy, and preparation for middle school and high school baseball.
Players will continue to refine hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and situational awareness while learning responsibility, accountability, teamwork, and respect for the game.
Competitive Focus:
The Babe Ruth Division places a greater emphasis on competition, player responsibility, and game understanding. Players are expected to demonstrate effort, preparedness, and sportsmanship during practices and games.
Mandatory Player Evaluation:
All registered players must attend a mandatory evaluation. Evaluations are used to assist with appropriate player placement and to help create the team. Depending on the number of registrants, evaluations will be used as tryouts, and player selection is based on performance.
Registrants who do not make the team will receive a full refund.
Player Placement:
The league reserves the right to place players in the division it determines to be most appropriate based on age, experience, skill level, and overall league needs.
Playing Time & Positions:
The Babe Ruth Division does not follow an equal playing time rule. Playing time and defensive positions are determined by the coaching staff. Players will be placed in positions where coaches believe they can participate safely and effectively at the full-field level.
